It is is my incredible honor and privilege to serve the community of South Whidbey Island and beyond!
I received my doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the prestigious Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and am a licensed Naturopathic Physician with the state of Washington.
Along with providing primary care, my area of focus is naturopathic endocrinology: thyroid, adrenal and male and female hormone management. I also love seeing children and parents together to support the overall health of each member of a family system.
Our mission is to use the least invasive, most effective means of relieving your suffering and restoring you to health. Whidbey ND operates as a primary care clinic which can manage a broad range of health concerns, providing conventional diagnosis, lab testing and imaging orders as well as an array of naturopathic assessments and treatments.
We employ lifestyle education, nutrition, botanicals, homeopathics, hydrotherapy, and physiotherapy to meet you where you are at in the gentlest manner possible. Where appropriate, we can provide minor surgery, pharmaceuticals and coordinate care with specialists.
We do not prescribe opiods or other addictive drugs. Our goal is to enable our patients to pursue non-pharmaceutical options wherever possible and when appropriate, safely wean off them as your health improves under our care.
We are now accepting new patients!

I have received additional training and certification in homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy, Biofeedback, Craniosacral therapy, Advanced Hydrotherapy coupled with a tour of water therapy clinics throughout Germany, Naturopathic Oncology, and IV therapy. I am a lifelong learner and more certificates are soon to come!
My personal journey to medicine began with a grueling career in high tech, through the Seattle dot com boom and bust (7 startups in 7 years) followed by a tenure at Microsoft. While at Microsoft, I had two beautiful children! All in all, the break-neck pace and the continual withdrawals from my health account left me energetically depleted and with an out-of-whack endocrine system. Yet I was not quite sick enough for the conventional medicine system to receive adequate care there.
I found my route to revival through receiving care from some wonderful NDs. When members of my faith community started regularly approaching me for help as I was remarkably improved, I recognized I had reached the limits of what I could research on my own and went back to medical school. I look at my somewhat convoluted journey as a discovery of my call to service to the community.
We are so happy to make Whidbey Island our home. My husband and our 2 children enjoy all the island has to offer and can frequently be found crabbing, fishing, kayaking and hiking the trails and beaches with our 2 pups. I have a passion for music and enjoy singing, playing viola, guitar and piano.
